Implementation of the first plot of regenerative agriculture in Yucatan
On June 16, 2022 in Akil, Yucatán, the implementation of the first regenerative agriculture plot in the state began, in order to promote the syntropic model.
The intention of this first plot, which has one hectare, is to serve as an example for producers in Yucatan, demonstrating that there can be a change in favor of the planet, making each meter planted as profitable as possible.
The producers involved in the Re Nature program will be able to come to see in person how this plot is being worked, the benefits and the lessons learned throughout the life of the project.
In this hectare were planted:
Pumpkin, Canavalia, Corn, Red Guava, Siricote, Yucatecan Lima and Apple Banana.
